Biography

Md. Sohel Rana is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics under the program of Mechanical Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB). He earned his M.Engg.Sc degree specializing in Nano-fluids for enhancing heat transfer in Minichannel Heat Exchangers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the esteemed University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, in 2014. In 2011, he completed his B.Sc.Engg. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. He has been teaching various courses successfully in the field of Mechanical Engineering for more than 7.5 years.

He has 20 scholarly publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences which are cited more than1650 times and his h-index is 15 and i10-index is 15  in Google Scholar. He has also contributed on 01 book chapter published in Springer recently. With a strong background in both analytical and experimental methodologies, his current research focuses on the field of Energy, innovative use of Nanomaterials and Graphene Membrane, Natural Fibers and Renewable Energy Generation for a sustainable world.
