Biography
Golam Saklayen is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), where he graduated with honors and achieved a high academic standing.
He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His current research focuses on the spatiotemporal dynamics and acoustic susceptibility of shear coaxial jets, with an emphasis on experimental fluid dynamics, flow diagnostics, and data-driven modal analysis.
His research interests include experimental fluid dynamics, thermal-fluid systems, heat transfer, heat exchangers, flow instability, and data-driven analysis of fluid flows. He has contributed to research on shell-and-tube heat exchangers, biodiesel production, composite materials, and engineering applications of experimental analysis.
Alongside his academic work, he has gained industrial exposure through training at Baizid Steel Industries Limited and participation in an industrial program at Abul Khair Steel. He is committed to engineering education, student research, and the development of effective experimental and laboratory-based learning.
